Dog Bite Severs Tendens In Man's Arm

Daniel King, a man from Southport, Florida, suffered severe personal injuries when he was bitten by a pit bull mix near his home on the evening of September 26.

The dog’s bite severed three of the tendons in King’s right forearm. He used towels to control the bleeding as he waited for EMS to arrive at the scene.

According to witnesses, the dog, “Mikey,” was threatening King’s children and he attempted to protect them. The dog’s owner claims he was just trying to be playful. However, according to witnesses, this is not the first time the dog has bitten someone.

Sheriff’s deputies that responded to the scene said the dog was making aggressive movements towards them. According to King’s family members, the injury he suffered will keep him out of work for more than a month.
