Dodge Ram Driver Injured In Rear-End Collision

A driver of a Dodge Ram pickup truck has filed a personal injury suit over a rear-end collision.

According to the suit James P. Leady filed in Illinois’ Madison County Circuit Court on March 27, he was eastbound in a 2005 Dodge Ram on September 21 when he was struck from behind by the 2003 Chevrolet S10 truck driven by Daniel M. Krekovich Jr. as Leady was slowing for traffic congestion.

Leady claims the collision caused him to suffer injuries to his neck, back, left shoulder, left arm, and body and incur medical costs. He also claims the injuries he suffered have prevented him from attending to his usual duties and affairs.

The suit alleges negligence on the part of Krekovich for reckless driving, failure to exercise ordinary care to avoid a collision, failure to stop in time to avoid a collision, driving too fast in the conditions at the time, failure to maintain a proper lookout, and following too closely.

Leady seeks damages in excess of $50,000.
