Denver City Bus Runs Red Light, Two Dead After Ensuing Collision

Two people suffered fatal personal injuries as a result of a Denver city bus running a red light and collided with a car and a pickup truck.

According to police spokesman Michael Murray, one of the victims was critically injured in the April 3 crash, but died the following day.

So far, there have been no charges filed against the bus driver and Murray says the crash remains under investigation.

At around 5 p.m. on the day of the crash, the Regional Transportation District bus was northbound on Lincoln Street, a major route in the city of Denver, Colorado, when it struck a car and then a truck.

According to witnesses, the car was struck first before the bus pushed the truck into a parking lot against a billboard pole.
