Deliveryman Hospitalized After Rottweiler Attack

A 44-year-old man from Appleton, Wisconsin required hospitalization for the personal injuries he suffered when a dog bit him on October 30 as he was delivering food to a home that night.

According to Grand Chute, Wisconsin police, the attack was unprovoked and occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. As the dog’s owner was paying for the food, the Rottweiler got past him and bit the deliveryman in the groin. He received ambulance transport to Appleton Medical Center.

Police cited the dog’s owner for having an unlicensed dog and issued him a warning for the bite. Police say there have been no prior complaints about the dog, which has been quarantined.
