Crash Near Rocky Mount Claims Teen
Another North Carolina teenager suffered fatal personal injuries in an automobile accident on May 1.
According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, 17-year-old Elm City resident Michael Dee Turner Jr. was northbound on Carriage Road just west of Rocky Mount at around 7:15 a.m. when he ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle at the intersection of West Mount Drive and Old Carriage Road.
The other driver was unharmed.
It is unclear at the time if any charges will be filed.
