Church Supervisor Injured In Accident
David Jones, Jr., driving a 2008 Honda, Civic, was cited for failing to stop at a red light. Jones’ vehicle struck a church van, belonging to Forest Park Baptist Church, in Randleman, causing the van to run off the road. The van was traveling south on U.S. Highway 311 around 11:20 p.m. on October 4 near Archdale.
A church supervisor, Tina Boyd, got out of the van, to check on Jones. Boyd was then struck by another vehicle.
Boyd was taken to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem to be treated for the injuries she sustained. Doctor’s were unable to save her legs.
