On the morning of March 12, a Charlotte-Mecklenburg school bus was involved in a collision involving personal injuries in southwest Charlotte.
The driver of a car struck the bus and then a utility pole on Sharon Lakes Drive near the South Boulevard intersection.
The driver of the car suffered serious injuries in the crash. No one on the bus was injured.
Five kids were on board the bus when the collision occurred. They were en route to Turning Point Academy.
