Charges Filed In Crash That Killed Two ECU Students

Charges have been filed in connection to a November crash in which two East Carolina University students suffered fatal personal injuries.

 

According to police in Greenville, 20-year-old Nashville, Tennessee resident Kamil Arrington fell asleep at the wheel before the crash ran off the road and collided with a tree.

 

Arrington has now been charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.

 

Two people, 20-year-old Kernersville resident Briana Gather, and 20-year-old Raleigh resident Victoria Carter, died in the crash.

 

Arrington and a fourth student survived the crash.
