Catawba County Crash Leaves Two Dead, Three Injured
An automobile accident in Catawba Count on the morning of August 22 has left two people dead and three others with personal injuries.
According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, on August 22, the accident took place around 1:30 a.m. on Startown Road near Settlemyre Bridge Road.
The crash was under the investigation of officers from the Highway Patrol and the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. It is uncertain how many vehicles were involved.
No immediate update on the condition of the three persons injured in the accident has been released. The identities of the victims have also not yet been released.
