Accident Victim Trapped Under Truck
Accident Victim Trapped Under Truck
Witnesses to a violent two-vehicle accident on Wednesday helped free one of the drivers pinned underneath a truck, outside of Clayton.
According to Troopers, the driver of a pickup truck failed to stop for a stop sign on Steel Bridge Road.
The truck was hit by a Mercedes traveling on Little Creek Church Road. The collision caused the truck to overturn and rest on it’s side. Witnesses to the accident pushed the truck off the driver pulled him out from under it.
The driver and three passengers were taken to WakeMed for injuries they sustained. Two people in the Mercedes were also injured.
The accident is under investigation.
