Accident in Raleigh Knocks Power Out
Accident in Raleigh Knocks Power Out
An accident early Thursday morning in Raleigh knocked out power to residents near the intersection of Weeks Drive and Fayetteville Road.
The outage occurred when a pickup truck ran off Fayetteville Road around 3 a.m. and struck a guy-wire causing the transformer to blow.
There were two people in the truck. One of those people was transported to a nearby hospital.
