Accident Claims Life of White Oak Woman
Accident Claims Life of White Oak Woman
Consuelo Dominguez-Tamez of White Oak lost her life in an accident on Thursday afternoon one mile south of Roseboro.
N.C. Highway Patrol report stated that Terry Ray Sessoms, 47, of Clinton, was charged with driving while impaired and reckless driving. The 2004 Chevrolet truck driven by Sessoms and owned by Premium Standard Farms collided with Domingues-Tamez 1994 Nissan pick-up on N.C. Highway 242 just outside of Roseboro.
Sessom's truck rounded a curve traveling 55 m.p.h., crossed the centerline hitting Dominguez-Tamez. It was estimated that the Nissan was traveling about 35 m.p.h.
Sessoms was transported to UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill for treatment.
