9-Year-Old On Skateboard Fatally Struck By Vehicle In Cary
Police say a 9-year-old boy suffered fatal personal injuries on September 12 when he was struck by a vehicle while skateboarding in Cary.
According to Cary police Lt. Randall Rhyne, 9-year-old Ravindra Kalipershad was leaving his driveway on a skateboard on Council Gap Court when he rolled in front of a Toyota Highlander at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Rhyne said that the Toyota’s driver, Lauren Miller, who resides on the same street, immediately stopped after the accident and has given police her full cooperation. Police have not charged her.
