8-Year-Old Requires Stitches For Dog Bite

Kennedy Albright, an 8-year-old girl from Port Huron, Michigan, had to spend approximately an hour at Port Huron hospital on September 15 for the personal injuries she sustained after being bitten on the back by a pit bull.

According to Albright, she was playing on a playground swing at Howard D. Crull Elementary School in Port Huron when the dog attacked her.

“I was thinking that I’m really going to hurt,” she said.

According to Leslye Lang, Albright’s mother, she required two stitches to close the puncture wound the bite left in the middle of her back. She said that they are still concerned over the possibility of rabies. 

After attacking Albright, the dog also chased after several other children on the playground.
