7-Year-Old Girl Attacked By Dog Owner Claims Is 'Security Dog'

A 7-year-old girl from Federal Way, Washington sustained personal injuries after she was attacked and bitten by a pit bull terrier-chow mix while walking up to the front door of the home of the dog’s owners. The girl was aiding her father by dropping off business cards on resident’s doors.

Chris Brown, the owner of the dog, claims that it was the girl’s fault, rather than the dog’s, that she sustained her personal injuries. He says that the dog was raised to be a security dog.

There is no fence or gate at the home of Brown, but he does have a “Warning: Security Dog” sign. He also has an “invisible” or electronic fence installed.
