$700,000 Verdict Against Drunk Driver
Plaintiff received a settlement of $700,000.00 as a result of Defendant striking his vehicle in the driver’s side causing permanent damage to his face. Plaintiff’s left eye was surgically rebuilt and screws and rods were placed in his femur. Plaintiff was a 30 year old single male employed as a cook. The defendant was under the influence of alcohol and was unable to maintain his proper lane of travel. Despite the facts defendant stated the six mixed drinks of alcohol were not enough to impair his judgment when his content level was at .23.
