46 Injured In 50-Car Crash In Connecticut
According to police, at least 50 vehicles were involved in a chain-reaction collision on a wet road in Shelton, Connecticut that was turning icy and 46 people were reported to have suffered personal injuries.
Shelton police Detective Sgt. Kevin Ahern said that six people received hospital transport from the wreck, which took place shortly after noon on state route 110 on December 13. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
The road was reportedly closed for more than five hours as authorities continued the investigation.
