2001 Recall Reannounced

Two cribs originally sold in specialty stores in 2000 and 2001 are being recalled once again by the manufacturer. LaJobi, Inc. of Cranbury, N.J. is voluntarily re-issuing the recall to alert consumers who may still have the cribs, and to alert thrift-store and consignment stores and other second-hand sources to the danger.

Two models, the "Betsy’ and the "Molly", have end panels with either cut-out patterns or slats that pose a strangulation hazard due to entrapment. If anyone has one of these cribs please stop using them immediately and contact LaJobi, Inc. to receive replacement end panels. Their phone number is 800-266-2848.
