10-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized For Dog Bite To Face
On August 6, a 10-year-old boy from Connecticut required transport to The William W. Backus Hospital for the personal injuries he suffered when he was bitten in the face by a dog.
Police say that the incident was reported from a residence shortly before noon.
Responding to the scene were the Ledyard Center fire department, Ledyard volunteer emergency squad, American Ambulance paramedic, and Ledyard police animal-control officer. According to police, the boy was in his own home at the time of the attack.
